Guy Hollaway Architects presented the idea of building a 5 floor skatepark in England, and the skater community is more than excited about it. The concept is to keep the shape of a parking building but adding some different ramps, rails and different stuff to practice any kind of action sport. You would start from the 5th floor and you would skate all the way down to the first one.
It’s all about designs and concepts so far, but the opening date is in 2017. The specific city in which they are going to build it is Folkestone (England) and the idea is to allow the entrance to skaters, bikers, rollers, and every single modality. We’ll see how this project evolves and if it becomes true, and we will also add images about this evolution. We just hope to be back with good news related to the project Guy Hollaway is developing.
