Como bien sabes, por unos motivos u otros, el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona está intentando acercarse a la comunidad skater desde que acogieron los XGames en 2013. Después de tantas quejas, prometieron que construirían más skateparks en la ciudad, y esto es lo que han ido haciendo por ahora. Hicieron el skateplaza de Les Corts hace un par de años, y luego vino el de La Mar Bella. Ahora, el tercer proyecto en el que han estado trabajando es el de Canyelles, también conocido como el skatepark de La Guineueta. Hemos visto muchas imágenes del proceso, pero ahora ya está terminado, y ha quedado así:

Después de ver las imágenes sabemos que te estás muriendo por patinarlo, pero tendrás que esperar hasta el fin de semana para ripar estas pools. Pero por si acaso estás dudando de cuál es mejor, si este park o el que había antes, publicamos también estas fotos de cómo era antes. El antiguo vivió grandes momentos, especialmente en aquellas competiciones en la Hell Curving, pero este tiene un mejor futuro. Ahora mírate este vídeo y prepara tu tabla, este fin de semana el park te estará esperando.

As you know, Barcelona’s City Hall is trying to get closer to the skate community since they hosted the XGames in 2013. After so many complaints, they promised they would build more skateparks in the city, and that is what they’re doing so far. They raised a new skateplaza in Les Corts a couple of years ago, and they constructed another one in La Mar Bella as well. Now, the third project they’ve been working on is the one in Canyelles, aka La Guineueta’s skatepark. We’ve seen many pictures of the process, but now it’s done, and this is how it looks:

After watching the images, we know you’re dying to skate it, but you’ll have to wait until this weekend to shred these pools. But in case you’re doubting of which one looked better, the new one or the old, we are posting this pictures and a video to remind you how it was. The old park lived great moments, specially with those contests at the hell curving, but the new one is going to have a brighter future. Now watch the video and set up your board, this weekend the park is waiting for you.
